Morgan Fitzgerald completed her honors thesis and undergraduate degree in Biopsychology at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Morgan found her passion for neuroendocrinology while working with Dr. Kelly Duncan at Vassar College, and she continued her studies in the Jacobs Lab. In 2020 she joined Matt Panizzon's team at UCSD to serve as a research technician for a UCSB-UCSD NIH R01 studying the neural and cognitive impact of pharmacologically induced gonadal hormone suppression. Ultimately, she is interested in understanding how hormones and reproductive aging modulate migraine pathology. In her free time, Morgan enjoys playing tennis and spending time with family.
